To defy all fashion rules, I decide to rock out a yellow gold look. Where am I going to? No where. Probably to the mall and back. =P

As usual, do not mind my brows.. I probably get them done next week when I head down to Sydney! FINALLY! CIVILISATION! I know I do look a little wane.. It’s from the bad tummy. It’s better but not 100% well yet.

Just a short update.. I need to go wake up my sleeping princess now. It’s pass her lunch time. And to be extremely OOT.. Here’s something utterly random.. Our big bunch of celery!

I’m definitely a nude lippie kinda girl. I just tried on my Oasis Lip Smacks. It is definitely rare to see a gloss being able to achieve the nude lips.. It' is extremely pigmented (which I love) and gives the hint of gloss. I’ve definitely gone to be a lipstick person but this really changed my mind. =P

The rest of my face is pretty blah.. I’m going through a bout of breakouts AGAIN. Thanks to the temperature drop, my skin is feeling really tight again. I decided to skip all Classy Minerals/MMBB skincare products. Actually I ran out of the dead sea mist.. So it’s just the AHA and Purifying cleanser left.

I did a really simple 4 step routine today. Jurllique soothing foaming cleanser, followed by Jurlique daily exfoliating cream, Clinique clarifying toner in no. 2 and my Priori skin brightening complex. My skin still feels like it needs more moisture but upon touch, it feels really supple. So I’m not going to overdo anything in case I break out again. Urgh!

Sorry for the rant post. I needed to rant about this. My skin is bugging me a lot.. On the brighter side, my interview for my Uni application (I decided to transfer out..) is tomorrow. Hopefully it will be successful.. Wish me luck! I would probably need it.

When Coastal Scents had its Memorial Day sale, I grabbed the rest of the lip smacks that I wanted..

And being the brush ‘ho I am, I couldn’t resist checking out without getting a brush. So with Inan’s review on the CS brushes she bought for her sister, I gotten myself an Italian Badger crease brush.

I still do like the lip smacks.. I use it for my casual looks.. Just a single eyeshadow colour, eyeliner, blush and the lip smacks.. =D Here’s an example of it.. 

p.s. Sorry about my bed hair.. LOL~ my hair seems to curl up now with all the weight gone. =P

The blue is actually way better than this.. Oh wells.. I’m kinda stuck in an eyeshadow rut.. As usual, don’t mind my messy brows..

RAWRS! Fr0nd/Jo wasn't joking when she said Capricon was blah.. And truly it was blah to the point of painfully blah. Geez Heather! I'm sure not all Capriconians are that blah right?!

I also adjusted my foundation a little with SN yellow color corrector.. It does seem to match me a little better.. I can't really tell coz I dusted date bait over it. Hur! =X

Anyways.. I bought this Revlon matte lipstick in Really Red some days ago.. It was in my handbag for some time until today. I decided to try it out.. I wasn't about to shell out big bucks for a MAC red lipstick.. To be honest, it is my first red lippie.. I'm not too sure how I would like it.

Hubs said all I need is a white dress.. a steaming sewer drain.. and a mole.. =X LOL! All I did was applied the lipstick and CS Sheer Crimson lip smacks over it. So is it a yes or no to the red lipstick?

I decided to try out my samples from yesterday's package. There wasn't much colour choices.. So I took 3 (geminix, yellow beige and warm peach) and mix them all up.. The result was the closest match of foundation in my current stash.

But to be honest, the coverage isn’t sufficient for me, I prefer heavier coverage to cover some scar.. On the good side, it is sufficient for my everyday mummy look! So that’s good.. However, I do wanna RAVE about the blush.. I am in love! First, I was suckered in by the name.. Who can resist such a name - Lover’s Caress? Hee.. It gives such a gorgeous flush!

I decided I had enough of trying out of TSS e/s.. And stuck to what I call the Mummy look created with my Majolica Majorca BR751 palette.

Anyways.. I’m not here to talk about my look.. I finally received my package from geminisc! Woo hoo.. I opened it and got a nice sniff of her goodies!

Some really gorgeous blushes included! She knew I was such a MMU addict that she included them in to prevent me from missing my stash!

These are the bath fizzy. They smell awesome! I feel like taking a bath with them RIGHT NOW! Too bad I don’t have a tub.. So I’m stuck to a bucket and my feet gets a relaxing treat!

Here’s what I actually ordered! Heez.. I’ll review on it in a week or two!

We went out today yesterday (Saturday!) to look for a kids cafe... but we ended up going to Glenelg (a beach side town). LOL! However, I'm not here to talk about my day but to review on BRTC Jasmin Water BB cream!

To be fair, I must say this is my first try on BRTC's BB cream. I’ve tried a few brands of BB cream and I must say.. BRTC isn’t really on top of my list.

Look at the above photo, I applied it only for less than 30 minutes but look at my nose, it is so shiny! And my skin is a little on the dry side at the moment..

On the good side, it does provide adequate coverage and it’s texture feels next to nothing on my skin. However, I realised that it does make me look a little dull. This might be better for someone with a slightly darker skin tone..

It sort of is an in between Skinfood and Etude House. I prefer Etude House for the light weight texture and light coverage. While Skinfood, for the heavier coverage. BUT BB creams aren’t really my thing, so I can’t really give a fair review on it. I hope this helps.. =X

My daughter once again chose my e/s colours.. And she picked green and purple.. The two colours were Sour Grapes and Dazzle Dance from TSS. My initial reaction was “eeps! what am i going to do with them!?” but goodness me, they are pretty together! And since I’m nice (only because I’m bored), I decided to show how I fake my small eyes big!

Apply Dazzle Dance on the lid.. Doesn’t have to be perfect.. Just a nice green base! (Nekkid face alert!)

Apply Sour Grape on your crease and slightly above and into your brown bone.

When you’re done, it should look like this.. It does look a little scary but no worries on it..

Now add in your highlighter.. And blend out the edges of the purple!

Start lining your eyes.. I do not line too close to my lashline simply because it does make my eyes look bigger if I left a slight gap.. It’s not very noticeable.

Voila.. All done! =D I added a flesh tone liner on the lower lashline and the inner corners of my eyes near the tear duct!
